The student council elections have been very dramatic! Six candidates and their Vice's took part in the elections, each as great as the other! It was a tight competition and everyone did their best. All the candidates took part in speeches, put up posters and also engaged with all the students at William Morris.
The final result was very close, over 390 students voted! The winner, and our new Student Council President, is Moktar Alatas and Sarmad Al-Fadly who managed to get 32% of the votes! In second place, Hawwa Budraa and Mariam Mahmud with 31% of the votes, and third place went to Dan Wangi and Faban Fitsum with 22% of the votes. Well done to everyone who took parrt in the elections, everyone who voted and everyone who organised!
