The language curriculum offers European and world languages and is a vibrant and high achieving area. It is well equipped with satellite TV, perimeter systems in three rooms and increasing use of computers.  Its greatest asset is the experience and enthusiasm of the teachers (all native speakers!).

The teaching of Arabic A level at WMSF wins a coveted Good Schools Guide award for excellence in teaching the AS Arabic course.

The Good Schools Guide has awarded Arabic at WMSF an honour in their 2013–14 awards for excellence in teaching, AS Arabic for (Boys).

Petros Samano, Curriculum Area Leader for Languages, said "We are delighted to have been nationally recognised for all the hard work both staff and students have put into the course." Arab students are highly motivated to do well in their mother tongue, which then also motivates them to do well in other subjects.
