William Morris Sixth Form

We have two careers advisors who support our students as they prepare to move on from William Morris Sixth Form. Our External Progression Coordinator focuses on university and other higher education options whereas our Careers Advisor focuses on employment, apprenticeships and further education. We also get extra advice and support from two external organisations – ‘Into University’ and CfBT, who are both independent charities offering careers information, advice and guidance.

As well as supporting our tutors to develop high quality careers education, our advisor provides students with vital information and guidance. The Careers area in Student Support Services is well-stocked with information on careers, job-seeking, apprenticeships and further education. We offer one-to-one guidance, and group sessions on, for example, job-seeking, CV writing, and interview skills, to support students who are looking to progress into employment or apprenticeship schemes. There are also opportunities for students to gain vital work experience while studying with us.
