Dance A-level
Unit 2 AS
Unit 2 teaches students about the planning and organisation that is needed to organise a performing arts event. The student group works together to form a production company that will develop a Dance Showcase in March, featuring the work of all dance students in the college. From lighting design and operation, sound, costume, hair and make-up to front of house, box office, marketing and press; each aspect of the show will be organised, planned and executed by a member of the Performing Arts (Dance) student group.
How am I marked?
Marks are awarded for organisation and planning skills and the ability to create and implement an action plan that takes in to account the roles of all students in the group. Students who pay attention to detail will achieve highly in this unit.
