We recognise that our students are part of an increasingly competitive environment, whether this is competition for the best universities, internships or employment opportunities. For students who have the ability and determination to achieve the very highest grades at advanced level, the BYC programme prepares students for progression to Oxbridge and other Russell Group Universities as well as specific preparation for Medicine, Dentistry, Veterinary Science, Law and Accountancy.

In addition to preparation for entrance tests and interviews we also offer master classes, joint seminars with St. Paul’s Independent School, summer schools and internships at top city firms. We are also formally linked with Oxford University as their West London outreach centre. This allows more of our students to apply to Oxford and be successful with their applications. We are very excited about this initiative which has been proven to raise student aspiration and achievement.

For all students the opportunities to study or experience something extra is so important. We therefore offer an extensive `extended curriculum` as part of our Enrichment programme. Please click here to see the full range of free programmes that we offer. We hope that these experiences can give our students the `edge` over other applicants.

In addition to the usual HE links we have now built up a series of formal partnerships with a number of universities. The benefits to our students include discounted fees, lower entrance requirements and various scholarships (see separate information sheet).
